Sometimes “Being a Woman” Makes Me Tired – From Good Women Project

33 Ways You Know You Were a Youth Group Kid – From Buzz Feed (By the way, I scored a 25. –Erin)

“For you, Lord, rescued me from death, my eyes from tears, my feet from stumbling.” – Psalm 116:8 (HCSB)

For this first ‘Finds’ post, I wanted to share one of my very favorite verses that God has used to remind me of who I am to Him. —Whitney

“For the Lord your God is living among you.
He is a mighty savior.
He will take delight in you with gladness.
With his love, he will calm all your fears.
He will rejoice over you with joyful songs.” — Zephaniah 3:17 (NLT)

Matt Chandler podcast – Nehemiah: Rebuilding with Truth

Love this quote from Donald Miller. –Erin
“Speak the Truth: This means losing the battle over owning the moment. The moment is rarely owned by truth.”

This quote from Dietrich Bonhoeffer’s Life Together really made me change the way I think. –Erin
“Why is it that it is often easier for us to confess our sins to God than to a brother? God is holy and sinless, He is a just judge of evil and the enemy of all disobedience. But a brother is sinful as we are. He knows from his own experience the dark night of secret sin. Why should we not find it easier to go to a brother than to the holy God? But if we do, we must ask ourselves whether we have not often been deceiving ourselves with our confession of sin to God, whether we have not rather been confessing our sins to ourselves and also granting ourselves absolution…Who can give us the certainty that, in the confession and the forgiveness of our sins, we are not dealing with ourselves but with the living God? God gives us this certainty through our brother. Our brother breaks the circle of self-deception. A man who confesses his sins in the presence of a brother knows that he is no longer alone with himself; he experiences the presence of God in the reality of the other person.”

Mary Kay’s Fancy Nancy Lip Gloss: It didn’t change my life per se, but it’s pretty amazing! –Erin

This makeup brush from E.L.F. is amazing! I just dab a little of my liquid foundation either on my face or directly on the brush and sweep all over in circles. Great coverage and lasting wear!

I found this bag on Modcloth yesterday and swooned! Practically perfect in every way: Meet me in Minneapolis Bag

This Encourage.meant Calendar helps me focus on serving and uplifting others when I feel too bogged down in my own mess of stuff. I don’t stick to it like glue, but it helps me have something to go by if there is a selfish day I’m stuck in.
